Following on from our very enjoyable and highly successful Wine Dinner at the Churchill War Rooms in November we are planning our next Prestige Wine Adventure.

Join us in the Pavilion in the gardens at Alnwick Castle, Northumberland – featured in the Harry Potter films as Hogwarts and in the TV series, Downton Abbey -for our Spring “What’s Your Poison/” Wine Dinner.

Thursday April 7th 2022 from 6pm

£165 per person

For Parties of 4 persons of more, price will be £150 per person

This exclusive event will include a tour of the Alnwick Gardens and a private tour of the world famous Poison Garden, a drinks reception and a 4 course meal, with top quality matched wines carefully selected from the GWO portfolio.

Before dinner, you can enjoy a tour of the gardens as the Spring flowers are emerging, and the cherry trees are starting to bloom. In addition, we have arranged private tours of the famous Poison Garden, hidden behind daunting black iron gates, where  around 100 toxic, intoxicating, and narcotic plants are grown, used by some very infamous poisoners!

We will host a reception in the glass Pavilion overlooking the Garden and Fountain Cascade, followed by a gourmet 4 course dinner using luxury local ingredients followed by a curated selection of local hero cheeses, chosen by our very own Steve the Cheese.  Steve and Penny will match the wines to the food prepared and served by the Alnwick chefs.
