Immerse yourself in some of the world’s best vineyards: meet the winemakers, watch the grape to glass process unfurl and then finally (the best bit) taste the wines in their native environment.
Our tours will give you the opportunity for an authentic wine region experience, not only visiting wineries but also taking in some local culture, history and iconic sights along your journey. As well as wine, we are also passionate about responsible travel and as such we only use local guides whose knowledge will create an unforgettable experience for you as well as contributing to the local economy.
Our resident travel expert, Caroline Joyner, organised our first trip in May 2022 to Tuscany- and it was a huge success. She is working on several more fabulous tailormade GreatWineOnline tours for the rest of this year and into 2023.

Rioja, Spain,: Wine, gastronomy and royal connections (3 day trip) dates to be finalised
The Rioja region of Spain is of course well known for its fabulous wines, but did you know it’s a gastronomic haven too? On this trip, we will be based in Logroño, south of Bilbao which is the capital city of the region. We will visit Bodegas Franco Espanoles, taste the wines that have graced the tables of Kings and Queens, tour this historic winery, have a delicious lunch and wine tasting, and meet the wine maker behind this label.
Argentina / Chile, Wine, mountains and waterfalls (circa13 day trip): February 2026
Fly from London to Chile’s bustling and cosmopolitan capital, Santiago, and immerse yourself in the Chilean volcanic wine regions of where we will tour the Bodegas Volcanes winery.
Drive between Santiago and Mendoza passing through spectacular Andean scenery arriving at the Gauchezco winery in Mendoza, surrounded by the rugged Andean foothills and valleys whilst you relish the increasingly sophisticated wines of this stunning region.
Fly to Salta then onto Foz Do Iguazu, on the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.
