GroupOn Wine and Food Events

GreatWineOnline has teamed up with GroupOn to bring you these exclusive wine and food matching tasting events. 

During the evening, we taste 3 different wines, chat to the winemakers themselves, who join us live from their own countries, and we look at food and wine pairings. Tasters are encouraged to ask questions which we put to the wine maker.  

We have 2 events coming up: 

WINE AND CHOCOLATE: A MARRIAGE MADE IN HEAVEN (April XXXX)  

Is it true that chocolate and wine really do go together? Do white wines go better with a lighter chocolate, such as white or milk chocolate and does red wine pair best with dark chocolate? How are the flavours of both affected? 

A selection of handmade single-source artisan chocolate will be part of the tasting case – handmade by artisan chocolatier ‘I’d Rather Be Eating Chocolate’ ‘s Karen 

Karen will be telling us about how she makes her chocolate, her ingredients and the different origins and types, as she and Steve answer these and more of your questions.
