Description
A GWO favourite white wine from the North West of Spain (DO Rías Baíxas). This Albariño is a pale yellow colour with green glints. It has the typical clean, fresh fruity aromas of an Albariño, with freshness, a balanced, firm taste and with good acidity. Fresh and harmonious it has a powerful, long lingering finish with a hint of salinity.
This wine pairs perfectly with seafood with creamy sauces such as Moules Marinières. Try with Paella, grilled chicken, Risotto Milanese or goats cheese salad.
Vegetarian/Vegan : Yes/Yes
Alcohol : 12.5% abv
The Winery is one of the oldest family wineries in the Salnés valley, the heart of the region, in
the hands of the fourth generation of the Pintos family, making wines in their “Casa Natal” -which literally means ” the home of their birth”.
The fully ripened grapes are handpicked in 25 kg bins. The de-stemmed grapes are
macerated at 8ºC for 12 hours and then gently pressed. Must is fermented in
stainless steel vats where the wine rests and is stabilized before bottling.
