Volcanic Selection: 6 wines from Bodegas Volcanes in Chile

£90.00

The case contains one bottle of each of the following (6 bottles in total)

Tectonia Sauvignon Blanc: Fresh and very elegant this wine has notes of nettles and green pepper in harmony with lime and pink grapefruit.

Tectonia Chardonnay: White peach, pear, quince and subtle hints of coconut mix harmoniously with unique mineral notes. The palate is refreshing with delightful complexity and good structure. It has a vibrant acidity, the finish is long and lingering with distinct mineral undertones. This is delicately oaked but has a richness that comes from the influence of the volcanic soils.

Parinacota: 70% Syrah, 30% Carignan This wine is an intense violet red with aromas of stewed fruits and hints of liquorice, nutmeg and cedar. It is a fine wine with character and structure, with elegant tannins.

Tectonia GPSM:  45% Grenache, 40% Petite Sirah, 15% MourvèdreThis wine has an intense violet hue. A wine with body and structure; rich, velvety and energetic tannins. Good balance of fruit and wood. The finish is elegant, complex and persistent.  (“It is like a Rhone on steroids” – GWO Team Member!)

Tectonia Pinot Noir: Pronounced aromas of minerals, earth and ash and hints of green tea and beetroot. This elegant, well structured wine is accompanied by a full fruity taste of red fruits such as strawberry and cherry.

Tectonia Cabernet Sauvignon:  A fresh and flavourful wine with good structure and a delicious finish. The grapes are hand harvested and the wine spends 12 months in French oak barrels before being bottled.
