Producer In 1951, at the age of eighteen, Georges Duboeuf began delivering wine to local restaurants on his bicycle. Since then he has become one of the most important and influential wine producers in France. Often described as the King of Beaujolais, Duboeuf is also its most tireless ambassador, though his range now extends far beyond that region. Duboeuf still tastes hundreds of wines each day, and marshals his enormous production almost single-handed. While flower-label Beaujolais remains his empire’s most recognisable creation, one must remember he is a merchant as well as a winemaker: the company distributes numerous high-quality domaine wines not only from Beaujolais, but also white burgundies, Vins de Pays, and even a Côtes-du-Rhône

Vineyard The owners of the Domaine Les Chenevières have lived and worked as winegrowers in the area for a long time. The domaine itself has been passed down from father to son for at least five generations. The vineyard covers twenty-seven hectares and lies at an altitude of 250 metres. The soil is clay and limestone.

Winery Fermentation was kept at low temperatures of 18-20°C.

Taste  Beautiful honeysuckle aromas on the nose and a soft, rounded palate with notes of red apple.
