Vineyard and Viticulture:

The vines are an average age 4 years, from schist soil vineyards situated at an altitude of 350m. The viticulture approach is that of minimal intervention.

Respecting the winemaking tradition of the oldest demarcated region in the world, these wines are produced using native grape varieties, created to express the vibrant aromas of the most traditional Douro grapes, showcasing their potential for producing balanced wines that are excellent partners for food. Grapes are picked and selected by hand and are then pressed using a pneumatic press. The wine is then fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at 12 to 14ºC then aged on fine lees (sur lie).

Tasting Notes:

Fresh aromas of red fruit with hints of black cherry. The well balanced palate has a fresh and long finish.
