Grape:100% Pinot Noir

Producer: From the magnificence of the Andes to the cool waters of the Pacific, Terra Andina uses modern and innovative winemaking skill to craft premium wines. Acquired in 2001 by the Claro wine group, Terra Andina is an innovator within the Chilean wine industry. By blending grapes from different valleys with different micro-climates and soil conditions, Terra Andina takes full advantage of the richness and diversity of Chile’s different wine growing regions.

Winery:The grapes were destemmed and partially crushed, and the must immediately cooled to maintain flavours and aromas. There was 5-8 days’ cool maceration, followed by fermentation at 25ºC in stainless steel tanks over 25-30 days, and natural malolactic fermentation at 16ºC. The wine was aged in eighty percent French and twenty percent American oak for six months.

Taste: A fragrant Pinot Noir with notes of cherry, Turkish apricot, orange peel and liquorice. Medium-bodied and delicate in the mouth, with an appealing smooth texture and long finish.
