Description
The flavours in this white wine are reminiscent of pear, gingerbread, spice and honey with a touch of nougat and the mouthfeel is soft, mellow and off dry. This would be splendid with river fish such as pike or perch, or veal escalope, or even the local Beaufort cheese.
The grape is predominantly Roussette (Altesse) with some Chardonnay and Mondeuse Blanc. This wine is from France from the Jura and Savoie region, and Frangy is the village where it is made
Domaine Lupin is a small organic winery run by Bruno Lupin: this award-winning ‘Frangy’ is his only wine.
