About the Producer
The Monfil name is the surname of their great grandmother Carmen Monfil. Carmen’s family owned large vineyards in Cariñena. Bodegas Monfil is run by the Mateos Family, who come from three generations of winemakers. It was set up in 1943 by Victor Mateo and since that the time the family continue to strive for quality. The three Mateos brothers work in the wine cellar, Maria Mateo is an Export Area Director, Ana Mateo is a Trade and Marketing Director and Victor Mateo is a Manager Director.

Excellent by itself or with rice dishes, duck, grilled vegetables, roasted lamb, cold meat, cured cheese and Asian dishes.
