Description
The grapes for this wine come from the slopes of the Loire Valley known as “The Garden of France”. This wine is full of expressive flavours from this area – fresh and zippy citrus notes with a light floral touch and a dash of minerality. A “baby Sancerre” that over-delivers, with a stunning long finish.
About the Producer
For 10 generations, the Bourgeois family has put effort and emotion into working in the vineyard, creating wines and sharing their personalities. For their ancestors, the vine was already a passion to which they devoted themselves wholeheartedly, in addition to the necessary food crops and the raising of a few goats. But the actor of the great turning point in the history of the family was Henri Bourgeois. Starting from the cultivation of two hectares on the hills of Chavignol, he took the bold gamble, in the 1950s, to devote himself to his vines in a region that was still little known. Quality wines were born there, to which he lent his name.
Serving Suggestion
Pair with white meat, fish and green vegetables. This aromatic side allows it to be combined with sweet and savoury flavours. It will go perfectly with dishes with flavours of candied lemon or saffron.
