No, we don’t mean the country. This case is designed to take the headache out of what to serve on Christmas Day.

How about a cracking glass of fizz to get the day off to a great start, full of rich, Champagne-like flavours. Starting the meal with fish (smoked salmon or prawns perhaps), nothing beats a fruit-filled, mouth-tingling Sauvignon from Marlborough. Traditional turkey main with all the trimmings? – try a beautiful, exotic Southern French Viognier, or go red with either an elegant, silky textured Fleurie or ripe, velvety Malbec (we have included both – well, there are bound to be leftovers for Boxing Day). And finally, Christmas pudding is just crying out for a glass of rich and sticky Muscat from Australia’s Rutherglen, like liquid raisins in a glass.
