About the Producer
At Tinwood Estate, they grow the classic Champagne grape varieties—Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier—on our flinty, chalky soils to craft award-winning English sparkling wines. The land has been in the Tukker family since 1985, when Dutch farmer Aad Tukker bought it to grow iceberg lettuce. In 2007, his son Art had a new vision and planted the first 28 acres of vines. Since then, the vineyard has grown steadily, and today they have over 110 acres of vines thriving on the estate.
