Enjoy some unusual and favourite light wines from Portugal

We are looking at some lesser known wines from Portugal that are ideal for a spring / summer drink with friends.

The Portuguese tend to keep most of their wine for themselves! And we know why. We explore some of the wines that we don’t usually get to drink here in the UK – and there are some surprises.

Vinho Verde is a much under rated wine as are many other Portuguese wines.

Alentejo is probably the best known red but there are several others.

Come along and try some- as we tell you all about the fabulous trip we have planned for a wine weekend in Oporto, with visits to the wineries as well as the Port Lodges along the Duoro.
