Description
We have put together a number of wines that will go perfectly (with a bang) and the foods that we associate with Bonfire Night
Volcanes Reserva Pinot Noir from Chile (Bodegas Volcanes)
Pronounced aromas of minerals, earth and ash and hints of green tea and beetroot. This elegant, well structured wine is accompanied by a full fruity taste of red fruits such as strawberry and cherry.
La Bastide Cotes du Rhone (France)
A deep garnet colour. The wine has a delicate nose with notes of crisp red fruits, blackcurrant jelly, raspberries and then, after aeration, notes of cedar.
Saint Peyre Cabernet Sauvignon
Lusciously-deep cherry red with garnet hues in colour. The rich, mellow aromatic notes are reminiscent red fruits in syrup with a touch of exotic spice. The elegant yet discreet woody notes blend well with the roasted cocoa notes. In the mouth, the presence of silky tannins adds to the balance and harmony of the wine. Best consumed within 5 – 7 years.
